About Us

Drawbridgez, Inc., a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, has been created to bridge the gap between all students of life and their chosen field of work. We will serve as a resource to supply the user with an inspiring, educational environment that will provide the greatest possible development of their abilities, thus enabling them to realize their contributions to self and society. There are millions of talented individuals who are sitting in their classrooms and/or cubials– their abilities unrecognized, their needs unmet. When we convince ourselves how to become intensely involved in the creation and action of dreams, we will soon notice our minds transcending any limitation.

In our pursuit of happiness, we began to come across inspiring articles, videos, and successful individuals with noteworthy career experiences from all walks of life. We then internalized the world’s vital need for career information and exposure. Therefore, our goal became to create a format in which these individuals may present their experiences in a way most beneficial to the students in search of such information. We set out to maximize learning and individual development and to minimize boredom, confusion, and frustration. To stimulate creative, artistic, and scientific thinking, and learn to help students understand themselves, develop good self-concepts, and value educational and career accomplishments. Society also reaps a profit. Realistically, it is only today’s talented youth who will become tomorrow’s political leaders, medical researchers, artist, writers, innovative engineers, and business entrepreneurs. Tomorrow’s promise is in today’s schools, and it must not be ignored.

Our vision will be manifested through our collaborative efforts with concurring students with successful individuals, organizations and corporations. There will be manifested through various programs, conferences, and a website available for students to nurture their intellectual, artistic, or creative needs outside of the formal system. The more fortunate ones have parents who will sponsor their dance or music lessons, chemistry kits and telescopes, art supplies, frequent trips to the library, and home computers. While the not-so lucky ones are force to make do with what they can, quietly paying a price for a situation they may not understand, and others choose to ignore. That price is lost creative potential, lost academic growth, and lost enthusiasm for educational success and eventual career achievement. Therefore, we are out to provide the necessary resources for students to ‘drawbridgez‘ from where they are to where they want to be…
